Introduction to Managing School Building Compliance

Introduction to Managing School Building Compliance

Managing building compliance is a highly complex area with plenty of scope for things to go wrong. There is a real risk that lack of knowledge, experience and processes can put lives at risk, with those responsible facing prosecution, or worse, a prison term. This half day webinar covers the essentials to managing building premises compliance and is an ideal event to ensure you can check whether your organisation is aware of its responsibilities, and has all the necessary procedures in place and that they are followed.

This event is vital for those responsible for premises management, including head teachers, school bursars, business managers, premises managers, members of the board of trustees/governing body, facilities managers, or anyone else with responsibilities for, or an oversight of, compliance issues within education buildings.

Delivered via the Goto Training webinar platform delegates will be able to interact with the presenter posing questions and providing feedback on their experiences whilst viewing a live presentation. In advance of the event delegates will receive full log on instructions and a detailed event programme along with the presentation slides.

This half day event begins with logon at 09.00 hrs for a 09.30 hrs start, and will finish at 12.30.

CIPFA Property, ISBLs property training partner recognise webinar training may be new to some so here are some comments from recent webinar events run by the CIPFA Property team:

“I really enjoyed the training and learnt a lot. It’s the first time I have done any CIPFA training and it’s made me realise how knowledge is so valuable and could help us immensely as a team. Plus taking part online worked very well.”

“The event organisation consisted of clear instructions on registering and links to test connection to the training software in advance of the live session.  It was helpful to log on before the session started to test the audio and chat function with the trainers.”

“This was my first webinar experience and it was a positive one, with open access to the trainers across audio and written chat.”

“At the outset I was a bit worried about a full day webinar, but I thought it went well and I really enjoyed the event.”
