Speakers will be:
David Laws joined the Education Policy Institute as Executive Chairman in 2015. Between
2010 and 2015, David served in the Coalition Government as Chief Secretary to the Treasury,
Schools Minister, and Cabinet Office Minister.
Carole Willis is Chief Executive of the National Foundation for Educational Research (NFER), a not for profit organisation dedicated to providing research and analysis to help improve outcomes for children and young people.
Leora Cruddas is CEO of the Confederation of School Trusts (CST). Previously
Director of Policy and Public Relations for the Association of School and College Leaders, she authored ASCL’s Blueprint for a self-improving system.
Sam Ellis represented local secondary headteachers on the Schools’ Forum, becoming involved in funding issues and co-produced the LA activity led funding model adopted by the f40 group of authorities.
As a former coach, consultant and author, Caroline Gielnik brings a wealth of experience to her current role as BDM at Education Support Partnership – UK’s only mental health and wellbeing charity for everyone working in education.
