Safesmart releases new Smartlog® Android application

ISBL Approved Partner Safesmart have now released a long-awaited Smartlog app for Android devices, purposed to further enhance school health and safety compliance management by enabling offline risk assessments, incident reporting and asset management for all users with Android version 5.0 and later. E-learning training courses such as Safeguarding and Fire Awareness can also be completed via the app.

The new app also takes full advantage of smartphone and tablet capabilities; with integrated barcode scanner and NFC support in the Asset Management module as well as the ability to directly attach videos and images to user risk assessments or premises health & safety audit reviews. Using smartphone technology, staff can now actively report any hazards that arise and instantly alert their colleagues or arrange for the issue to be resolved quickly.

The Android app is free to download through the Google Play Store for all Smartlog users, and joins an existing iOS app that limits offline access to only the Risk Assessment and Checks & Tests modules. To view and download the app in the Google Play Store, click here.
