The ESFA have announced that the Condition Improvement Fund (CIF) bid outcomes have been delayed from April to June 2020.
Academies will be keen to finally hear the results of their submissions. The ESFA have confirmed that they will work with successful applicants to get projects underway as quickly as possible once the announcement has been made. Our teams will proactively work with our clients to promptly progress and complete their successful projects.
Should you find out that your bid was unsuccessful, please get in contact to see if we can help. It may be possible to appeal or alternatively our team would be pleased to help your Academy address the ESFA’s feedback and support with re-submission in the next round of bids.
Please contact Jenny Howard on firstname.lastname@example.org for further information.
“The Condition Improvement Fund (CIF) is an annual bidding round for eligible academies and sixth-form colleges to apply for capital funding. Funding is available to deal with school building condition items to ensure they remain safe and in good working order. This includes projects to rectify health and safety concerns, issues with building compliance and poor building condition. CIF also supports a small proportion of expansion projects.”
