Free Webinar 9 February - Supporting Staff Wellbeing During COVID-19

Working in schools is a challenging occupation but perhaps never more so than in our current circumstances. The latest Labour Force Survey statistics suggest that the prevalence of work-related stress amongst education professionals is now 75% higher than average.

The latest national lockdown means that, once again, working parents are experiencing heightened difficulties balancing work and home life and the education sector is faced with the complex task of delivering remote learning for the majority whilst maintaining Covid-secure face-to-face provision for some.

The effect that the coronavirus outbreak is having on mental health is rarely out of the news but recognising the impact is, of course, only the start. This short webinar, taking place 9th February 14:00 – 14:45 is free to attend and will focus on supporting staff wellbeing during the pandemic and its aftermath. Topics covered include:

  • The legal duty of care

  • The ‘business case’ for prioritising staff wellbeing

  • Ideas for practical wellbeing strategies

  • Harnessing absence management tools

  • Creating a wellbeing culture

  • Developing a wellbeing strategy for Covid-19 and beyond
