NW24 Teaching and Learning Partnership is a network of 24 schools in North and West Bristol, collaborating to ensure the delivery of the highest possible quality of education for all pupils.
The Partnership began in September 2015 as a response to the changing education landscape. As a group of schools with a long history of collaboration, we recognised that local authority resources have diminished and the diversity of schools has increased, but our obligation to the children of Bristol is the same.
The schools in NW24 include Infant, Junior, Primary, Secondary and Special Schools. The Partnership includes Local Authority maintained schools, stand-alone Academies, sponsored Academies and Free Schools.
Headteachers, Governors, Business Managers from the cluster and the cluster Steering Group meet as discreet groups every term to discuss pertinent and relevant issues, hear from local speakers, plan events for the staff and children of the cluster, and look at value for money through collaborative procurement. Actions from these meetings also lead to working parties from the schools focusing on curriculum, Pupil Premium and SEN issues.
The whole cluster meets twice a year for a combined INSET training day and an AGM which focuses annually on a relevant national/ local issue.
The remaining dates for our meetings this year are 7th May and 18th June.
