The London Borough of Hounslow SBM Network

The London Borough of Hounslow SBM Network group was launched in 2010 with termly meetings for all School Business Managers in Hounslow schools.

The aim of the network group is to:

• To create a local network of School Business Leaders who work together to support each other
• Share good practice and information on a range of topics including HR and Payroll, insurance , facilities, data, admissions and finance.
• Collaborative purchasing and resources
• Signposting information/relevant CPD opportunities

Staff who work in schools business management, schools finance or HR or with office administrative duties are encouraged to join the email group and attend the meetings which are held once a term at Hounslow Professional Development Centre.  Each meeting offers SBMs information on a variety of topics from internal and external speakers, relating to school management. Staff are encouraged to share resources and information to establish a network of support.
