Job Title:                    Assistant Finance Director

Working Hours:         37 hours per week, all year round

                                    8.00am to 4.30pm Monday – Thursday

                                    8.00am to 4.00pm Friday

The Role:

Due to the retirement of the current postholder, we are looking for an energetic, talented and suitably qualified professional to join our Finance Team.  Working closely with the Finance Director, you will support the effective management of our £8m revenue budget together with a range of ongoing capital schemes.  The successful candidate will need a good understanding of Academy funding framework although experience of working in a school is not essential.  

 

This is a demanding and complex role which requires the post holder to effectively handle multiple work streams simultaneously.  The post holder will need to be well organised and motivated to ensure that our high standards of financial management are maintained and where appropriate, improved.
