School Resource Management Adviser (SRMA)
Contract: Variable hours – Employed or Self-employed
Salary: £400 per day plus reimbursement of expenses up to £100 per day
Location: School based as per DfE deployment request
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Herts for Learning as a DfE accredited SRMA to provide support to schools in our region to help them develop financial efficiencies and provide advice on the improvement of school business leadership and operations. You will be deployed to schools or trusts identified by the DfE to carry out a review of systems and processes in order to inform a strategic improvement report.
Successful applicants will undergo an induction and accreditation process with the Institute of School Business Leaders and on successful completion you will commit to at least two deployments of up to five days per year.
The opportunity will allow successful applicants to use their expertise to help schools/trusts (SAT or MAT) to drive transformational change within the sector by supporting them to maximise their use of resources in order to deliver positive educational outcomes. The role will receive full support and continued professional development from HfL including dedicated SRMA networking sessions to share best practice, enabling the applicant continued growth within the SBM profession and collaborating with a wide range of colleagues.
