John Cabot Academy is part of the Cabot Learning Federation (CLF). The CLF is the largest non-diocesan academy group in the South West. 

We are seeking to appoint an Academy Business Manager to lead the non-teaching and learning aspects of running the academy, to include responsibility for Human Resources, Health and Safety, site responsibility, finance and responsibility for support staff.

The post holder will report to the CLF Senior Business Manager and will ensure CLF processes and procedures are adhered to within the academy. Support is available from the central HR, Finance and Compliance teams.  The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate a successful management background, including previously experience of managing a large budget, budget setting and financial control.

Strong HR knowledge and line management experience is required, along with a good understanding of health and safety legislation and processes.

The successful candidate will be confident, highly organised and able to juggle a number of competing priorities.
