The King’s School is an incredibly successful and highly regarded school. We are looking to appoint a Director of Finance and Estates as the school’s leading support staff professional who will work as part of the Senior Leadership Team to assist the Head Master in his duty to ensure that the school meets its educational aims.
The successful applicant would be expected to provide professional leadership and management of the school’s support staff in partnership with teaching staff, to enhance their effectiveness in order to attain improved standards of learning and achievement in the Academy.
The Director of Finance and Estates promotes the highest standards of business ethos within the administrative function of the school and strategically ensures the most effective use of all resources in support of the school’s learning objectives. The role holds responsibilities including Financial Resource Leadership, Administration Leadership, Information and Technology Leadership, Human Resource Leadership, Facility and Historic Estate Leadership and Health & Safety Leadership of the Academy Trust.
The post holder must be a lateral thinker, innovative and proactive in finding extra funding for the school and have the perseverance to investigate and promote alternative strategies through to implementation, in liaison with the Head and the Governors, to the advantage of the school.
