We are seeking to appoint for 1st June 2020 an experienced, motivated and dedicated Business Manager for our outstanding secondary school and sixth form.

Job Grade: L11 - L17 (depending on skills and experience)

Salary: £52,643.00 - £60,895.00

Hours: Full time / Permanent

Start Date: 01/06/2020

We are seeking to appoint for 1st June 2020 an experienced, motivated and dedicated Business Manager for our outstanding secondary school and sixth form.

As School Business Manager you will be a member of the Leadership Team and as such will contribute at a senior level to the strategic planning and operational effectiveness of the academy. Working closely with the Headmaster you will be responsible for the financial and business management of the academy as well as overseeing the effective running of the support staff.

We are looking for someone with experience of school business and finance, preferably with a Level 5 qualification in management, school business management or accountancy. You will also have experience in the management of a diverse range of activities which could include human resources, procurement, facilities management, grant applications and health & safety.

The school of 1000 pupils, plus a Sixth Form of 300 students, is attractively and conveniently situated close to the Ribble Valley and has excellent motorway connections via the M65 to the M6 and M62.
