Due to the retirement of our current CFOO (Chief Financial and Operations Officer), we have an exciting opportunity for a new CFOO to join Educational Impact Academy Trust (EIAT) in Birmingham. We are looking for an individual with strong financial acumen alongside operational management skills to play a leading role in our future success. The appointee will have a record of accomplishment of successfully leading, supporting, empowering and co-ordinating teams to deliver operational efficiency and effectiveness.

You will lead the Multi Academy Trust (MAT) day-to-day operations, improve operating procedures that drive efficiency and implement agreed strategies, working with the Board of Trustees and the Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Working as part of the Executive Leadership team, this crucial role supports the success and growth of EIAT.

EIAT currently includes 3 different Special Schools, a Specialist College (19 – 25yrs) and 2 nurseries. All our establishments are currently based within the Birmingham area with Wilson Stuart School being the founding Academy. You will be working alongside teams of exceptional staff that support children and young people to reach their educational potential. We believe ‘Better Never Ends’. You will be Involved in the development and management of significant capital projects. We want to continue to grow as a Trust and you will play a key role in that development.

This is a wonderful opportunity to play a leading role in developing the provision for children and young people with SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disability). We work across the age ranges and aim to make an enormous difference to the lives of our students and their families. From our two nursery provisions to our 19-25 College, you will be able to apply your skills to ensuring that everyone has a life changing experience through their education. There is a wide range of student need across our establishments, and you will find it intellectually stimulating to be a leading part of a team working in that context.

It will be an extremely rewarding role and you will be able to visibly see the impact of your work. We employ lots of adults and staff wellbeing and CPD are key priorities. You will work very closely with the MAT Central Team and Executive Team as well as staff in all establishments.

You will be given the chance to develop your own professional skills and will find an open-minded, creative, and committed approach to helping everyone to reach their personal bests.

We would strongly encourage you to visit one of our sites for a tour and informal discussion to help you fully appreciate the nature of the role.

You will be required to work across the establishments but will be based at our Central Office situated at Queensbury School.

This position is all year round.
