The Trustees of All Saints Catholic Academy Trust (ASCAT) wish to appoint an enthusiastic, outstanding and ambitious finance professional, with a formal accountancy qualification, to the position of Chief Financial Officer (CFO).
This is an exciting opportunity that comes at a pivotal moment for the Trust as it begins the process of expanding, in line with the Diocese of Westminster’s Academy Strategy, welcoming in schools from the Watford, St Albans and Dacorum areas.
As part of this expansion, our CFO will play a strategic role to lead, develop and manage our professional, financial and accounting services across the Catholic Academy Trust (CAT). This role streamlines all financial aspects of the organisation, driving forward efficient financial planning and management across the Trust, and is an interesting and rewarding opportunity for someone with a background in finance and a passion for the education sector who is ready for a fresh challenge.
We welcome applications from individuals with a proven record of delivery at a strategic financial level, coupled with a track record in developing high performing teams and individuals. These skills are essential to support the growth of the Trust and to lead a high quality team that provides advice and financial support to the schools within it. Naturally, the successful candidate will have advanced analytical and problem solving skills with strong technical knowledge, and will also be capable of engaging and influencing people at all levels through excellent written and verbal communications skills.
At the heart of ASCAT is our commitment to an ‘Outstanding Catholic Education for All’, and this role is central to ensuring the very best of opportunities and outcomes for thousands of young lives.
