Exciting opportunity for a school business manager to work in a friendly, rural primary school.

Churchill Primary School is a successful, purpose-built village primary in a beautiful rural location within North Somerset. We have a modern, well-resourced building with seven classes. Outside we have attractive grounds and play areas.

Our Ofsted and SIAMS inspections judged the school to be ‘Good’ and we are continually looking to improve further and offer the very best for our pupils.

We are looking for a new School Business Manager to join our school leadership team and to build upon the foundations already in place. If you are an inspirational and successful School Business Manager with energy and vision, we would love to hear from you.

Working with the Headteacher and Senior Leadership Team, the role will involve the leading and management of the business and administration function in the school, working alongside the Academy Trust Central Team. There is also a requirement to attend six Full Governing Body Meetings to clerk and minute. These generally take place at 6:30pm and are held in the school.

Candidates should have a strong knowledge of School Business Management (or relevant experience that could be applied in a school setting) and ideally hold the Certificate of School Business Management or, if not, be willing to undertake this. An Accountancy qualification and experience of Project Management would be beneficial.
