The successful candidate will be a member of the Senior Leadership Team within a very collaborative working environment in which they will feel valued and can thrive and lead a team of support staff.

Having been graded Good by Ofsted in our last inspection, we are looking to appoint a professional who will actively support the next stage of our development in our journey towards Outstanding.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Principal as a member of the Senior Leadership Team to contribute to the strategic direction of the school and, as such, must have very good organisational skills, the ability to work proactively and under pressure with a friendly positive manner.  You will have experience of managing budgets, financial plans, and financial reporting. You must be able to work flexibly to meet the demands of the role.  You will be supported by the Multi Academy Trust central operations team, who will provide strategic development in all key areas.

School experience is not essential for this post. Many School Business Managers have successfully transitioned into the education sector from having previously worked in other sectors. People who transition into the school business profession usually possess the type of relevant experience and transferable skill sets that provide a stepping stone to move into this role, e.g. finance, HR, or business administration. Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills are vital for success in the role, as is the ability to implement operational strategy and communicate effectively. Strong ICT skills and the ability to work well under pressure are also essential.

You will be given full support in your career development as we believe that development of staff is a key aspect in raising standards for our students.  You will benefit from dynamic leadership and be empowered to develop your own skills with access to excellent CPD.  We are committed to professional development and have a strong track record of supporting colleagues to progress in their careers.
