Membership Benefits
Be ready for the future with access to valuable resources, practical support and high-quality CPD.
The Institute of School Business Leadership is the only professional body uniquely dedicated to improving school business practice.
Membership will provide support for your career journey, access to tailored qualifications and training, a bank of helpful resources, and the opportunity to connect with like-minded professionals.
We recognise the diversity of roles across the school business professional (SBP) community. Our membership tiers are designed to meet the needs of all practitioners from aspiring SBPs to executive leaders and are mapped to our professional standards.
Like other professional bodies, we ask our members to reflect on their own practice and levels of competency (see our self-assessment tool) so that they can identify a membership tier that meets their current needs.
Keeping an ongoing record of your continuing professional development (CPD) is also important and will help you progress through the tiers of membership. The membership journey culminates in the ability to meet the standard required for the prestigious accolade of Fellowship, and Companion status is the highest accolade afforded to those who have made a significant lifetime contribution to the profession.
