Cheryl is Chief Operating Officer at Thomas Tallis School since September 2022. She joined Thomas Tallis School in 2019 as School Business, Operations and Finance Director after having been a School Business Manager at two primary schools over the course of four years. Prior to this she worked for Wandsworth local authority for 14 years, 12 of which were in the Children’s Services department and 2 years in finance.

In 2019 Cheryl was awarded a professional development scholarship by ASBO Intl and flew to Maryland, USA to participate in a four day event. In 2020 she was award the ISBL CEO Award and this was followed by the TES School Business Leader of the Year award in 2021.

Additionally Cheryl is the founder of ABBLed (Association of BAME Business Leaders in Education) and also a primary school governor.
