Emma is a partner and Head of Academies at HCR Law and has specialised in education law for over 20 years, advising on hundreds of academy conversions and MAT expansions. Emma has extensive experience advising Church of England Diocesan Boards and schools forming mixed MATs. She also supports schools with pastoral issues such as parental complaints, exclusions, safeguarding, SEN and disability discrimination claims. In addition, Emma provides governance and commercial advice to schools. Outside of work Emma loves spending time in the countryside with her family.
