Stephen is a retired school business leader who remains involved in a range of education sector activities. He is a DfE-accredited School Resource Management Advisor and CFO mentor and works as an education consultant undertaking internal audits and due diligence. He is a member of ESFA Academies Finance and Assurance Steering Group and the working group which reviews the AFH each year. He was appointed an MBE in 2018 for services to education. He is a Fellow of ISBL, qualified management accountant (ACMA), lead of Cumbria Association of School Business and Administration Management, an Academy trustee and trustee of School Partnerships Alliance. He lives near the Malvern Hills where he enjoys walking and running.
